"We will win this uncivil war."
A long silence, as he looked far away.

"Bring down the guns,
Shatter the fenced enclosures.
Destroy the battle submarines.
Remove those who make violent movies.
Regulate poisons out of food.
Teach children to think.
Train every youth the skills he wants and needs.
Reconcile with all countries, give them food.
Repaint the flag, purple and gold, with one shining star, America."

And then he bent down and looked at me.
"Go to your home,
Write what you have learned.
Teach my people how to come to me,
And I will teach them truth.

This day you are blessed. Amen."
