ABRAHAM LINCOLNaddresses JACK LAYTON of the NDP
on the CANADIAN ELECTION
24th January 2006
through Helen Engel
We are actually over Washington and are thrilled with the news that an announcement will be made soon.
Now we will address the people of Canada.
I wish particularly to speak to Jack Layton , Leader of the New Democratic Party.
[When I was on earth] I too saw that much needed reform was required, but in my days (as in later times) presidents who spoke out of turn were shot.
Let me give you some advice. Do not trust anyone. Anyone. If you should know of something that you expect to occur, contact my own secretary, this one, and she will contact me. I have Observers in your House of Commons and Senate, and we have good ears. My secretary was also a secretary in your country, and she has been trained well.
If you believe, all will be given to you, by way of guidance, and means to seek out information that is usually kept from you
That is all. Please acknowledge through my secretary, who is sending you this record.
